Remember the time you wanted to pay for Netflix or any online subscription with your traditional bank card, and you were immediately hit with the pop-up; TRANSACTION FAILED!, it is one of the reasons we founded Swyftpay; as a one-stop solution for all payment transactions, whether you're shopping from Zara or Alibaba or paying for Netflix and Spotify.
Swyftpay's virtual dollar cards are the best way to make secure and convenient online payments. But I'm sure that you also don't like the surprise of a declined transaction fee! This is why this post will explore some easy tips to ensure your Swyftpay virtual card transactions are always smooth sailing.
Stay funded: This might seem very obvious, but a chunk of feedback we've received from some of our users complaining about declined transaction fees wasn't because the card had any issues, but because they did not have enough money on their cards for the transaction. To curb this, always maintain a minimum balance of $2-5 to be able to cushion any additional costs and keep your Swyftpay wallet topped up to avoid any unexpected declines due to insufficient balance.
Double Check Billing Info: Declined transactions might also occur due to unmatched billing information. Take a moment to confirm that all your billing information is accurate before hitting "pay." This includes: Billing Name: Make sure the name entered during checkout exactly matches the name on your Swyftpay card as for some platforms, a different name might be declined. Billing Address: if there's a decline in transactions, verify that the billing address you provide matches the address associated with your Swyftpay account.
Card Restrictions: Some virtual cards might have restrictions when paying for some services. On the Swyftpay dollar card, if you want to make some payments on the App Store, you will have to switch to the US region, most of these restrictions are not from the card but are sometimes caused by restrictions from the company.
And finally, remember that Customer Support is always available to you💜 Always reach out to us, for cases of Card declined or Failed transactions and any other challenges you might face.
In all you do, we dey for you.
