We have been receiving questions from a lot of users concerning crypto transactions on Swyftpay. We have got a lot of questions like “Una no dey allow crypto transactions”, “Can I send and receive crypto on Swyftpay”, and “Does Swyftpay have a crypto wallet”. And today, we are bringing all those questions to rest.

Our Stand on providing Cryptocurrency Solutions We initially started with Cryptocurrency being one of our main features, We were starting to embrace Fiat as of 2022 then. From capitalizing on Crypto first to Fiat first. But maintaining Crypto infrastructure was costing us a lot and margins were nothing to write home about. Not to talk of endless CBN regulations affecting crypto in the country.

Due to that, we had to pause crypto transactions on Swyftpay temporarily.

But I am glad to announce that soon, we will be restoring crypto transactions on Swyftpay, making it easier, more reliable, and even more convenient for users to swap, buy, sell, or hold cryptocurrencies.

We will be introducing wallets for cryptocurrencies like BTC and ETH, including features to swap from USD/NGN to crypto and vice versa and options to send and receive cryptocurrencies.

Investing made simple We will also be introducing new features to help you own a piece of your favorite company by buying shares and stocks directly in the Swyftpay app. Our educational resources and user-friendly interface will walk you through your investment journey, and guide you as you make decisions.
